Secure link error

    Everytime I watch dvd's on my360, my tv screen goes blank. then i turn off and on my tv it displays "HTCP secure link error" any idea how to fix this problem?.. thank you

    hey, try a couple things....

    1. turn off the box, take the HDD off, turn the box back on and let it load, then when you get to the dashboard put the HDD back on

    2. i know this sounds dumb but breathe on the disc so you can see your breath on it and try it...

    3. smack the top of the box, sometimes thats what mine needs, just a lil encouragement

    If you are using 1080p over component you need to switch to HDMI or change the xbox to 1080i.

    good call bac0n...

    all it really means is that the tv isnt recognized by teh 360... its frustrating but it make take a few times to get it working... mine wouldnt play dvd's for a week

    I do have hdmi cables, but i'ii try it on 1080i.

    I tried all of the above , still no luck and it's happenning also while i'm playing.
