So I have windows 8 on my laptop. And it definitely won't let me download .NET 3.5 package. Is there a version for windows 8 and a new .NET ?

I'm more than sure there is no version of the 360 XDK for Windows 8, but there may be some way to run it. Professional, HuskerHeaven, Noobert , any ideas?

It won't let you install 3.5 because windows 8 has it pre installed.

As for newer versions, there's 4.0, 4.5, 4.5.1, 4.5.2 and 4.6.

If I'm not mistaken the SDK requires a minimum of 4.0.
