Screen flashing random colours?

Not even 5 minutes of my of being on will become unresponsive and start to flash random crashes colours. PC is less than a month old. Have video if you need.

Are you running a dedicated GPU or on board video? Check to see if your wires are all tightly secured and maybe try it out on a different monitor for a while to attempt to narrow down the problem.

That wouldn't make sense, as it seems like a reoccurring problem. Not that it isn't worth trying out a new cord, and making sure its firmly in.... Id say boot into BIOS and just let it sit for awhile, and see what happens. If nothing happens, then its his GPU drivers, if something does happen, then is probably a hardware level issue.

I would try what Rally Rally said first before you change cords or check them.
