Solved Sata card help

i just got this, i installed the drivers but in device manager an SM Bus Controller needs drivers now. also my 2 xbox drives aren't recognized at all.

so my question is could the SM Bus Controller be the problem?

sorry for basically double posting. i'm a little impatient lol

i don't know if this helps but Jungleflasher says that no COM ports are found

and from your link i'm not sure if i can use those, since i don't have intel, i have amd turion, so i tried the utility to pick which one and it just tells me i don't have intel

yep several times. it originally had XP Home on it. unfortunately i don't have the original discs.

You need to install your chipset drivers again. That is why the sm bus isnt working. Since you don't have your original disc for your computer. Then look on the companies site from who you bought it from and look for drivers.
