According to the Twitter post by PUBG Corp, a new DMR titled “QBU” is under the works, which will be coming to PUBG’s third map, Sanhok exclusively. The gun will feature a pre-attached bipod which will “greatly reduce recoil when shooting from a prone position.”
Furthermore, the new DMR will be replacing the Mini 14 on Sanhok.
QBU will have lower damage valves when compared to other pre-existing sniper rifles and will not have additional slots for grip or stock attachments. However, it makes up for it with the highest initial bullet velocity seen in the game and a pre-attached bipod. Thus, making this new DMR, an absolute beast when it comes to mid-long range battles.
