Well i want a new monitor for my laptop that is around 22", i found this samsung 22" ToC HD monitor, i am pretty partial to Samsung since i have one for TV and i love it so when i saw this Acer with almost better specs for 100 bucks less i was sceptical. Tell me which you recomend.

Acer is a really good brand. I love their monitors on Newegg.

If you go with the Samsung you're pretty much just paying the extra $100 for the name. I mean it looks nicer but it's not worth it unless you have the money. I doubt the Acer will disappoint also.

get the acer, its a good brand, cheaper, has a higher resolution (1920x1080 vs sammy at 1680x1050) Unless you are looking for a tv/monitor then get the sammy, has a built in tv tuner and built in speakers, which the acer doesn't have.

well like someone mentioned to me on AIM, don't get a monitor hoping for a good play with both video games and computer games. They both have 2 different aspect ratios, and so one will bad while the other won't.

IMO, when your talking about something as small as a 22", your really not going to notice the difference. If we were talking about a 46" LCD, I would be screaming Samsung all the way but on a 22" monitor, go with the cheaper ACER. I'm sure you'll love it.
