Whenever I download an RTE mod tool it comes with a bunch of .dll files. What are these and do I need to do anything with them for the tool to work?

They're libraries that enable the program to use certain functions. Don't worry about them.

Just leave them where they are. Do take note though that if you see any .dll's that resemble plugins (JRPC.dll for JRPC.xex), make sure you have that plugin loaded in Dashlaunch.
