Solved RROD FIX NEED HELP

I bought a rrod xbox off of ebay
someobody all ready tried the eraser fix, shoud i leave the eraser crap on the bottom of my mother board, or should i take it off to preform the xclamps fix
a answer asap from somebody who actually knows would be very appriciated
