Can someone explain in high detail what clearing system cache dose on a rgh console and when I might need to use this feature.

It's essentially just temporarily stored files on the console, such as Title Updates.
Clearing it just deletes the files, and your console will fill it up again overtime.

So how dose clearing cache help on an rgh console?
It stores certain information from Xbox live, which sometimes can get corrupt more so on modded consoles. It also stores info on the current kv, machine ID and everything so if your stealth does not automatically clear that part of the cache you need to manually delete it to get the new kv to start the authentication with Xbox Live.


People usually clear cache on both modded and retail consoles because it can fix errors in games, dashboard and even some system issues.
