jr programmer reading writting nand after wrong nand flash

hi guys ive been given a falcon 360 with a bad flash(got original .bin)
with j r programmer plugged in and xbox plugged in(not turned on)
j runner doesnt recognise controller. which i presume is due to bad flash.
ive tried shortings pins on the nand which didnt work.
so ive tried the 5 volt trick only at 5 volts still same no nand controller
ive lowered the voltage on my bench power supply to 1.9 volts

i get
junner log

Reading Nand to C:\Users\seadanzig\Desktop\jrunne\J-Runner\output\nanddump1.bin

any reason why the flash config changes from 0x00000000 at 5 volts then 0xffffffff at 1.9volts
ive also used a diy usb programmer too so i know the jrp is not knackered

ready to get my progskeet out shortly but just wanted input from you guys first

cheers neil
