Somebody can explain why i have to use dioda dan resistor ?
ALL Phats: 1x 1n4148 (or similar) Diode.
Resistor:
ALL Phats: 10k Resistor: (Brown, Black, Orange, Yellow)
Trinity: 3K OHM Resistor: (Brown, Black, Orange, Gold)
Corona: 1K OHM Resistor: (Brown, Black, Red, Gold)

Because without it and just for the cable the boot is very2 fast

Create a support topic, and include what secondary RROD code you are getting when retail nand is flashed.

so the code told me There is a problem with the Southbridge Chip usually dealing with how it connects to the mainboard (cold solder joint/bridged solder joints) probably from my soldering

Whats the secondary error code?
Wow, didn't know such thing exists. I checked it now with some help from google and the code is 0020 (four, four, two, four). Btw my nand wires are still soldered to the motherboard, could that be the problem?

0020 - This error is caused by a bridged solder joint under CPU, GPU or one of the RAM bricks.
This effect can also be caused by tin whiskers leading to shorts and if the GPU was taken off the mainboard this error will also show up.
It can also be power related(the CPU/GPU or RAM isnt getting enough power). Can also be a component that is missing or damaged so look for missing and bridged parts near the GPU.
If the console was jtagged and the resistors and cables are still connected it will show 0020, the parallel port can stay as long as no PC is connected.
If you own a hot air gun then take out your 360 motherboard from the metal chasis and give the CPU,GPU and ALL RAM chips a quick reflow.
Warm the board up first using the hot air gun, then turn up the temps on the gun and go over those chips i've mentioned. You only need to heat the chips up for no longer than 2-3 minutes on each of those chips with the nozzle of hot air gun a good few inches above those chips.

Is there any alternative point to the PLL bypass on corona v1??

As of right now, that's the only PLL point on slims.

Yep, the final nand file would have to be an RGH3 nand if you're using the RGH3 wiring.

Try unsoldering all wires, and you are sure that is the 100% stock nand that you read originally from the console?

I've done with Trinity. It's so easy except soldering.
There are two points in my case.
One is the wire must be thin enough or it will be difficult to solder.
Another is if you use MTX SPI NAND flasher v1.0,you need to use MTX USB mode not NAND-X mode
This is my first time to RHG.When it works,I am so exciting, and putting the Xbox back together, the PLL point has broken.
so ,is there any another PLL point ?
The wire I used now is very thin, like hair,if i play game for a long time,This wire will burn out ?
There are alternative PLL points.
Be warned they are also very awkward and sensitive. It is best to apply some non conductive tape (PVC Tape, etc) to help hold the wire in place so it doesn't move and break the point.
If you break some points the console will refuse to boot because of broken traces, so be warned...

I do not have any pictures to hand for alts at the moment, but Octal450 Octal450 may.

RE Wires, it's recommended to use 30AWG or thinner. You only send tiny pulses through them so it should be fine. No risk

There is no alternate PLL. Also I typically suggest awg28 on PLL to avoid noise.

Kind Regards,
Josh

From what I remember, Phats have an alternative PLL under the heat sink. Requires micro solder essentially and mask scrape. Very very tedious and very very highly will result in many broken knuckles from punching the wall!

Hi! I figured any resistors would work as long as they are the correct value but JUST wanted to make sure these would work?

Hi, everybody.
I have made 3 RGH 3 with your great tutorial but on the last one, i have a problem :
Everything is ok : I boot instantly on Xell when i flash the ECC 10Mhz.
I have create Xebuild image and convert it in RGH3 but when i flash it : nothing appear on the screen (screen is still black). I don't know why.
Is this du to my original NAND corrupted ?
(I have this message on JR-Runner on bad blocks :
• Bad Block ID @ 0x7 [Offset: 0x1CE00]
• Bad Block ID @ 0x7 Found @ 0x3FF[Offset: 0x107BE00]
But nands are the same.
What can i do please ?
thank you in advance

The resistors are only there for protection, so yes they should work.
You can do RGH3 without the resistors but longevity of your console may suffer greatly without resistor - which is why it’s recommended to have the resistors in place.

If I only have a single green flashing light when trying to boot xell on a trinity. I assume that just means one of my points is bad?

It’s the very center light that blinks for about 20 seconds before turning red. No other lights in the right light up when booting

DVD Drive connected? Usually this happens when DVD isn't connected.
Also, if it's Red lighting, it's an issue with the built nand. Try again

Im pretty sure I actually just broke the system in general. I got the secondary error code (0012) and it looks like I destroyed some traces pretty bad when removing the clamp like an idiot
