So what i must to do if I want my console alive?
I checked every connection between diode and rezistor with multimeter and there was connection also with alternative points on board. Resolder again and ... Nothing
There is problem when I create ECC then Xbox starts with full fan speed and any screen showing when i try to create and write Xebuild then nothings works even power button

Full fan speed on boot and no boot screen means damaged pcb. Fullstop

Step 1 - Reflash your original/stock nand dump back too the consoles nand chip (using your nand read read/writer)
Step 2 - De-solder ALL your RGH wires
Step 3 - Clean up ALL your solder points on your 360 mainboard (All nand read/write points and the RGH points)
Step 4 - Plug back in your 360's power cord and HDMI cord
Step 5 - Press power on your 360.
If the console is still refusing to boot or gives you any "Red Ring", then your 360's mainboard is toast/broken.
Step 6 - Buy a replacement secondhand but working 360 and throw away your broken one.
Step 7 - DO NOT attempt RGH 3 on another "Phat 360". It's still really in BETA mode at the moment but i've had great success on 360 Slim "Trinity" and "Corona" boards with instant boot every single time.

I haven't had any issues with my 2 phat 360's which both are Jasper 16mb's but with that being said even though it is in beta for phat's it is not hard to achieve stable consoles without much effort.

Hi, xXBeefyDjXx.

Just follow your splendid guide to finish two consoles of RGH3.
Trinity is as good as non-modded one( I mean booting time, very very stable).
But Jasper seems not to be so good. I calculate the booting time, well on average it will spend 25-30 seconds to boot.
Occasionally, instant boot (5-6 seconds).

Is that because my bad luck or phat consoles may need more tweaks afterwards?

Hello, just wanted to post an update on mine and my friends experience of the rgh3. We have done it on 5 different consoles ranging from phats to slims, they all seem to have the same issue. Works for a day or two and then it completelt dies and wont boot. Checked all the soldering points and the boards are just dead.
Thought id leave a warning to anyone whos unsure.

Thanks for your advice, dude. ?
I've modded several (+10) corona and trinity xbox360 from January and all of them are frecuently used and working fawlessly.
Think about what you and your friends are doing because you're the first one complaining about failure after a few hours working.
Good Luck

Not sure what you and your friends are doing but sounds to me like something is going wrong with your RGH 3 attempts.
With Slims it's a breeze and i've done countless RGH 3 installs. All of them are still working perfect. As for the phat 360's it seems a little hit and miss because RGH 3 is still in BETA stage and the creator of this new and brilliant RGH method is still currently working on faster timing files for the Phat Jasper and Falcon boards.

Hello, I have modded many consoles(trinity and corona), all working well with RGH3, stable as retail versions.
I don't believe RGH3 could be some issues itself.
I guess it could be other issues regardless with RGH3 in your side.

Sorry for a potential stupid question but in the latest J-Runner with Extras there is no "Create ECC" or "Write ECC" button... I have just read the nand from Corona 4GB and stuck here... :frown:
How can I move on this please?

One switching diode (1N418) not really adequate or safe.
False, it's perfectly safe. It may not be completely adequate though.
The GPIO point being reused for post is GPU_RST_DONE which is always high before the CPU is released from reset (running).

You can think of it as of the diode slewing the logic level a bit so that it's more detectable by using that high.

It's safe, but may not be sufficient for proper detection of post if you have powering off issues. However the lack of slowdown is the bigger issue with stability on phat. (128x PLL vs 640x on Slim, remember microchips (SMC's 8051) do not work like FPGA/CPLD glitch chips do)

No, it's not possible. PLL crash on Zephyr, and PLL crash + no I2C on Xenon.

Kind Regards,
Josh

thanks for replying bro lol figures there not really worth much at this point as im sure they all ready to rrod anyway just went ahead and did the 2 jasper's and 2 falcons had still have the 2 zephyrs and 3 xenons stored away till the day i can get some chips to least try rgh them before they die for entertainment lol

Just upgraded my Trinity from 1.2 RGH (CR4XL & JR-Programmer) to RGH3. Woah. Console boots instantly. Just regret not getting it done earlier. Great work guys!

CR4 is RGH2+ not 1.2. 1.2 also boots instantly.

You're right about the first part (that would make sense why the RGH 2 to 3 conversion worked), but as far as booting instantly..... not in my case. Took me up to a good minute, especially on a cold boot, sometimes.

Then again, I used the default suggested timings. This was the first 360 I've ever RGH'd.

RGH2 to 3 is a bad name. It means Glitch2 to RGH3. Both RGH2 and RGH1.2 use Glitch2 image.

Kind Regards,
Josh

Would a bad Post solder point connection affect boot times? Would that point have the most influence over boot times? If so, that would explain my bad boot times as when I was doing the RGH3, it didnt take much for it to 'break' off. I've made sure to make a stable and secure joint this time.

Looking for some help here. I have modded several jasper xbox's using an lpt cable, all went fine. I decided to buy a pico pi and use this method because it is much faster. Bought it from a reputable source and it seems to work fine. However I have no succes in the rgh3 on my first jasper. Read the nand fine and wrote the ecc also fine, but console is not booting (just green light), checked everything but can't find any issues. Wrote back the backup nand and removed the resistor and diode and now console gives mer rrod with error 0022. Thought it might be just bad luck and a problem with the gpu so decided to try another one. Again read nand and write ecc went fine, but now this console is also not booting, seems the same problem. When I turn in on all I get is 1 green light and fan spin, but it doesn't do anything after that. Haven't tried to flash backup back yet, because I want to keep in in this state just in case something is bad with the flashing process. I am used to doing small smd solderwork and have done many consoles so this is not the issue, any suggestions?
