Hey guys!

I am trying to do this method on a jasper board with cr3 lite. What jumper settings should I use on the cr3? I dindn't find it in the tutorial. Many thanks.
Read this. Also, leave everything at S4 to OFF, and set S2 to bypass (1 and 5 ON, the rest OFF). After you've found the file that works best for you, play around with S2 and S4, ONE at a time!

Only solder the 3V3, GND and CLK points onto the QSB, use my diagram for the rest.

This is a very well structured tutorial, I'll probably use some of this for reference in the future

I think Taiwan, tried everything. I knew it was a long shot before i started the install. Xenon next i think
Zephyrs with Taiwanese CPUs don't work well with RGH2 and RGH1.2, but you can try R-JTAG or R-JTOP.
Btw, your Xenon MUST have a CPU made in Canada, otherwise the only thing you can do is use the TTL version of RGH1.2 to get the CPU and DVD keys, but no Xell and no dash.

How do i tell between a canadian/Taiwan CPU? TTL?

There you go:
image.jpg

Btw, the second picture is from a Falcon/Jasper CPU, which has smaller die than your Xenon/Zephyr CPU.
TTL
Keep in mind that you'll need a USB TTL converter or a COM level sniffer.

Hey  , first thank you for this tut, i get my nand without badblocks.
I cant get my Xell boot to get the Key, i dont know if the problem my soldering or other things.
I get the wire as short as i can.. but no xell booting, i hear a fan reboot but nothing happens.. the xbox 360 jasper 256 (have no drive) start without the ecc and CL Rev C.

CL Rev C : JP & 3-2 Closed , CAP tryes open & closed
Ground goes to AV Port

Does the debug LED blink every few seconds? Also take a look at this:
1) short blink -> short -> short
———##————##———##———
this behavior means, glitch was successful, but xbox have failed to start. that usually means, the pulse length (L) was too long, or the timing value (T) was too small. If you always get the 'short' cycles, decrease the length (L).

2) short blink -> short -> long
———##————##———######
this one means checks failure. too short length (L) or too high timing value (T). try the file with longer length (L) and lower timing (T).

3) fast long blinks ONLY (no short ones) on phat (Falcon commonly) - southbridge problem. replug the xbox power and try again. no idea wtf, maybe that's caused by too long pulse (try to use shorter L?). also using ALT_RST might help. cr4 ECC can partially fix this issue
And this:
*This wasn't made for RGH1.2, but the debug LED blinking patterns are the same.
If you can't achieve success, to understand what's wrong, you should follow the LED blinking explanation below:
1) LED blinks two times SHORT, then SHORT:
.....##...##...................##............
this behaviour means all checks were passed, but console have failed to start.
commonly happens when the pulse length is too large, or the timing value is too low

2) LED blinks two times SHORT, then LONG:
.....##...##...................##############
this one means checks failure. Too large timing, or too short pulse length

for example, with TR_L_0.2_T_59.7 you must get only LONG cycles, and with TR_L_0.9_T_59.7 you'll get only SHORT cycles
BUT with both TR_L_0.2_T_60.9 and TR_L_0.9_T_60.9 you'll get mostly LONG cycles.

the ideal length is on the edge of LONG / SHORT behaviour
but the ideal timing is a bit below that edge for timing values.

for example, I get mostly SHORT cycles with TR_L_0.8_T_59.7, but TR_L_0.6_T_59.7 and TR_L_0.5_T_59.7 gives both of them
then, I get mostly SHORT cycles with TR_L_0.8_T_60.6, and TR_L_0.8_T_60.9 gives me both of them
so the edges for me are 60.9 timing and 0.6 length. But an ideal timing I found is 60.6 / 0.6 !!!
That's what I meant by 'a bit below the edge'

I hope you got the idea how to find the timing without bruteforcing them all -_-

Let's continue the description of LED behaviour, there're two more cases:

3) LED blinks four times SHORT, then LONG:
.....##...##...................##...##...................##############
the pulse length is very big. maybe you use large length with the alt rst point on phats
4) LED isn't blinking at all, or always ON
something wrong with your wiring. re-check everything

thats you know its my first xbox 360 to rgh i get they as a gift.
i readed many tut in englisch and german and viewed this video
Code:

for understanding.

i followd your tut step by step to rgh my xbox360 (jasper 256)

Yes the Debug led is on ,

i would say its "short blink -> short -> long".

ps. I resoldering some points with Kynar wire 30 awg (saw some thread thats use kynar wire and i had good experience with NEW 3DS Nand mod soldering)

Is it short -- short -- long, with all of the timing files?
