Hello has anyone tried to return a banned Xbox to a shop for a replacement? I was banned for accounts no internal modding. Would Microsoft be able to trace it back to me and if so what could they do?
    Thanks

I have done this with many xboxes and no problems at all here. All done at gamestop. They can not prove who maybe before may have had the xbox and got it banned.

Microsoft wouldn't do anything, but the shop might be pissed. I wouldn't do this to a small time shop, that's just mean. Doing it to gamestop or EB is a different story in my book though.

Are you sure your whole console is banned and not just your Live account?
