This site is full of retarded lobbies ignorant kiddies, not pointing to most to you, but the few who are.

There were 3 Known exploits to the Xbox 360.

One is the Grandfather exploit the 4532 Kernel, which gave too much HV privileges, to the game King Kong.

Second is the "SMC" Exploit, which allows any kernel that did not have the updated CB and the CD to boot Xell, with out needing to boot to the game King Kong.

The third is the "SMC RGH" Exploit, which bypasses the CB sha1 check for the CD in which allows the system to run a modded CD thus booting into Xell.

There were NO J.T.A.G. involved in any of the three.

But wont being able to run unsigned code let you do the jtag hack to zephyrs and jaspers?

You're lucky, I'm on my iPod and I accidentally pressed the rep button!

You're not really understanding, the JTAG hack enables you to run unsigned code, and so does the reset glitch. So even if you could JTAG after doing the reset, there would be no point!

Again it's not a J.T.A.G. hack, nor it will ever be.

I'm done with this site for this discussion.

Fixed.

Also, I never agreed with the dumba** name JTAG it's the way it is and named, unfortunately we have to deal with the stupid name.

What about the "CoolRunner Hack"? Since it uses the CoolRunner-II CPLD, and even the Team Xecuter version is named the CoolRunner.

I'm pretty sure you won't be able to unban all consoles with this. I know you can unban retail xenons, if you have the cpu key, but you couldn't with any other mobo. I remember reading it having to do with the hash of the kvs or some s***. I honestly have no idea why, but I don't think you can.

All Xbox 360 consoles besides the Xenon have a hash check which prevents you from altering the KV.bin in any way. So, you're right. We won't be able to replace the KV on any consoles besides Xenons, JTAGs and Reset Glitched 360s with the Hash Checks removed.

idk why everyone gets their panties in a wad about the name. i'm more interested in what the hack can do, call it what you want.

the reset glitch hack could be a major milestone in the modding community. and when i first read about it, i was so ****in stoked bc i was under the impression that any console no mater which version was able to run unsigned code. and even so that's the case, it doesn't make a f*** to most of the modded community bc the scene got flooded with motherf***in ten year olds wanting oringinal JTAG consoles for ****ing lobbies and other stupid s***.

well, with that being the case, it's kinda f***ed over the people who want a console to run unsigned code for what it really should be used for. since all theses CoD f***ers came onto the scene, chances are we're probably not gonna get a rebooter from what i gather. they don't even wanna waste their time when you see all the time ppl saying "omg!! JTAGs are back online!!??!!" and stupid s*** of the sort.

i'm stuck with my xenon JTAG which i have nicknamed the lottery ticket bc you never know if it will boot, or if it does, how long it will stay on. i've been wanting a reliable console to run homebrew and s*** without shelling out the mucho money for one., plus i would rather do the hack myself.

but bc of the modded lobby 'scene', more than likely that will never happen.

--that was completely off topic, and i apologize for that.

I dont know why everyone is getting so happy about this glitch your still not able to get online with it . If we cant get online with jtags now what makes you think you will with the reset glitch.

You could have the ability to switch between a completely unmodded nand and then a modded nand that lets you use homebrew.

I have 2 jaspers (broken DVD Drives on NXE), a falcon (fixed e74 CB isnt exploitable  ), and a slim (laser grinded easy fix) that I bought off ebay for extremely cheap that I wanted to JTAG (minus the slim) but they were on NXE or the CB was patched. Myself along with other people I know would like to start making money again selling this new hack. Plus I would love a hacked slim for myself. I could care less about online and the community that uses their JTAGs for other things instead of these god damn lobbies would agree

If it was chipped this would be possible just because I don't think the xbox 360 nand is big enough to dual boot but I'm not sure so don't hold me to that because it could be completely possible we just don't know yet

You could use a cygnos, I'm thinking. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

This thread fails. We don't need another "rebooter" to boot into a modded dashboard with the glitch hack. We need to modify a retail CD ignore the hash/sig checks on CE (CE contains the Kernel/Hypervisor), and then you can hack up the kernel/hv all you want, just like a rebooter does.

Is it theoretically possible to set up an Xbox 360 (trinity/slim in my case) with the reset glitch installed, and then after having played games offline and gotten bored, flash retail nand to it and just go online without any problems? I know you couldn't do this with JTAG because it would blow the efuses. What do you think? Or would this be detectible regardless of whether you're running a retail dashboard or not.

EDIT: Can someone please delete the second post of mine? For whatever reason, S7 is double posting everything I say recently.
