Has anyone attempted this and how hard was it ?

I have an XBOX from 2002 it works fine but it has 2 bulging caps, neither of them is the clock cap.

Is it possible to replace them or am i wasting my time ?

It might be possible but I don't know how difficult. If it is working then I would just leave them alone. But as for the clock cap remove it if you are on a lower revision.

there is no point of replacing it. Since this capacitor only holds charge for few minutes. Just remove it.

Glad you were able to provide a better answer than myself!
