Unsolved removing 16gb partition from external jtag drive

I have an external 1tb drive im using on my jtag. When I First plugged up the external drive on the Jtag, I created a 16gb partition for a memory card and then added my games.If I go through system settings and delete the 16gb partition I created from the external drive, will it format the rest of the drive and delete my games?

guess i have to answer my own question. I removed the 16gb partition just fine without losing anything else. thanks everyone
