Solved Remote access trojan removal help

Ok so I somehow ended up with a backdoor remote trojan and I really need remove it cause it causes popup on me browser show up from it what programs would yall suggest that will get job done

Try AVG or Malwarebytes.

I have malwarebytes quarrantined it but it somehow still ahowing it active on comp by opening popups on browser also shows some background program mail.ru running

If its just causing a browser problem then its prob just an unwanted plugin/add-on. Deactivate anything that looks conspicuous, and reply back with results for further investigation. :thumbsup:

Ok so I deleted chrome cause that was browser I thought causing issues with plugins had seems not case so idk wat causing it but I do wish I could resolve it as it annoying loggin on comp den boom popup shows up

Go look at what your processes are, and whats on your start up. Delete the root file, and disable anything suspicious. Restart and reply.

If you're using a recent version of Windows 10, try running an Offline Scan from Windows Defender.

Ok ill try that but recently it says me windows defender has error within it on comp something bout a file error

Re-install windows and start over. Then don't ever download anything other than programs from official sources
