As far as fixing "scratched" vehicles, youre basically stuck with the choice of giving the vehicle either a brushed steel or a brushed gold pearlescent. Correct? (Using the custom crew color method)

By doing that it wouldn't exactly "fix" anything. you would be basically destroying the vehicle. Well the original anyways. by adding gold to the base to gain a pearl youve just wiped out any texture the car did have. but yeah if youve got a scratched car its doomed. you can delete it or live with it by changing the entire paint job. a pleb paint job with mp100 pearl on a utility texture crew color....or do as Rip do and toss that dirty bith into the ocean lol

Once a car is scratched there is no fixing it.
There are many options to change the paint on a scratched vehicle.
When you change your secondary Paint to crew it also changes the primary to crew and that will be whichever finish the original paint was when it was created.
Scratching the paint does remove paint texture so it will never be fully 3d paint if that is the case.
