Xport is a docking station, i.e you put your xbox on it and connect it to your computer.

Well xport does use USB, this means no tampering with your hardware. There is a free way, but it requires tampering with your xbox.

What is tampering? and I do want a free way, I was thinking to plug my harddrive into the computer then transfer the file into the harddrive

Are you talking about the cable that came with the 120GB HDD?

If so, yes you can use that

Tampering by my definition is voiding your xbox warantee by modifying it.

With Xport, well heres a diagram of how it works.

You HD goes into your Xbox

and the cord (to the right) is plugged into your computer via usb.
