I thought this today but wasn't sure because i'm not too informational about the xbox. So my question is, if someone posts on the computer the file that contains all the maps( Has like random numbers and letters and is extracted with PRIS) of the mythic or whatever map pack, using xplorer could you transfer it to your hardrive in the folder with the other map packs or is this not possible. Thanks .

they are signed to an individual Gamertag Profile. You cant simply transfer the Map.

I heard you can however somehow inject it to your Halo 3 disk image.

yes, you can. As supermodder recently states in an earlier thread, Halo 3 will include any maps in the maps folder, and that includes the map pack maps. With the original Image at ~6.5gb in size, you could fit the first 2 packs on there easily.

Correct me If I'm wrong, Buy you would still need to sign the maps to Your gamertag? Can you get out of paying for it?

No, only the container is locked to your console/online profile.

The container is what the maps are stored in, in this case a LIVE container. You cannot sign these for retail now or ever.

You can't use it on anything except the console it was downloaded on, and accounts from that Xbox.

Is there a way to trick it or changing a source making it work.

And in other words. The file I found is completely useless for the map pack. Correct? Or explain in noob friendly ways on ways that can make the map pack work.

People who want to extract the map files so they can use them in programs such as Johnson.
