So I'm going to be getting a Y50 (thanks Cosmic Owl for the suggestion ages ago) and I've decided to make a thread testing my current laptop. The current laptop is hardly the best however it's done well until I installed Win10 where things started to go south.

Here are the test results from 3DMark on the old laptop:

I've also got a list of games that I'll be testing out to see how they perform. With these I'm going to have them set to medium graphics settings (using in game defaults) and see how they do.

Y50 Specs

With thanks to ZMOT for providing me with links to some information about the pre-installed software on the Y50. Anyone thinking of getting one (a Y50) may want to look at these before hand. I'll update the OP if I have any issues crop up.
