thats my build. however, im getting a compatibility issue with case and mobo. I have not purchased the case yet, and i don't want to go back to microcenter and return the mobo. If you could help me find a different case that is just as good as the HAF912 in that price range that would be great.
The only incompatibility is the lack of a forward usb 3.0 port @ the fronthopefully one of you guys can help me

The case will work fine. All the incompatibility issue means is that the case doesn't come with native USB 3.0 ports even though the motherboard supports it. Its because the case is an older case made before USB 3.0 was out.
I could swear that they think we are synchronizedThe only incompatibility is the lack of a forward usb 3.0 port @ the front

You can add USB 3.0 to the front easily with accessories that newegg sells that'll fit into one of the optical drive bays.
Some external hddsto be honest, what runs on usb 3.0?
to be honest, what runs on usb 3.0?
Many things its a must now a days if you are using an external ssd to reach anywhere near rated speeds if not using esata interface. Even if you dont have a case with USB 3.0 front panel header you will still have plenty of USB 3.0 ports on the back of the mainboard so no worries about USB 3.0 unless you need them on the front of the case.to be honest, what runs on usb 3.0?
