Okay, so I have 3 fat PSP's currently running 5.50 GEN-D and I was selling my PS3 to buy a new PSP 3000 which I have wanted forever. Will I be able to mod it if I buy it brand new out of the box? I already have a bunch of Magic Mem Sticks and a pandoras battery.

it depends what firmware it has on it, and you can NOT use a pandoras battery on a psp 3000

You need something called chickHEN to mod the psp 3000, and even then modding is pretty limited on the 3000 you can't do nearly as much stuff on the 3000 as you can the 1000 & 2000, if I were you I would wait for the ps vita

I figured out a way on my PSP 3000. To be honest, I don't like when people bump something from a few months ago.

Anyways I learned to use signed psp games. I don't play on my PSP much anymore.
