Hi, first I'm not sure if I'm in the good section as it is a repair question for a not-modded PS4
Next, I received a PS4 from someone who tried to replace the HDMI port (and failled) but he took away one of the closer part and lose it.
So I would need to know the part number or the description of it so i could order one
The missing component is the closer one between the HDMI port and the Toslink port

PS4 specs:
cuh-1001a
board SAA-001

Hi, Not the microchip it's more like a resistor or a capacitor.
It's the black little one really close to the HDMI port
kind of really easy to loose for beginners

I still didn't find how to upload a pic, if it's possible.

its called a diode from what i read on ifixit you actually don't need it but if you really want to replace it get a donor board of the same type. https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/336790/SMD+resistor+value+to+the+right+of+the+HDMI+port

Great, thanks, I'll probably try without, finding a SMD diode is easy but it still needs to be install on the right direction, this info don't seem to be included in your find.
I'll keep looking now that I know which type of component it is, it should be easier.
Thanks again
