I used two IKEA ALEX cabinets and then topped them with a stained butcher block. It's enormous and takes up the entire length of my wall. You can get shorter ones, but in my opinion, that's the easiest do-it-yourself desk. I was thinking about constructing something similar to https://eurekaergonomic.com/gaming-desk/. Did you purchase a 70+ inch and attach a support beam in the middle? I've seen some guys on the buildapcsales forum exhibit a wooden marble brand thing that I can't recall the name of. Do they use two Alex cabinets, one on top of the other, because it appears to be more sturdy?
