Discussion Profile Editor 2.0 cracked?

Alright, so my friend sent me a supposedly cracked version of Profile Editor 2.0, but it won't run for me. I ran it through AVG and it came up clean, but it crashes as soon as it opens. If anyone wants to try it out/take a look here is is..

Does it really? I haven't had a problem with it and I've used it for a few years now.

And are those programs free?

When i ran it (after scanning) a process opened and close instantly. so ill call dud but it could be just me. windows 7 btw

Yeah I've got Windows 7 too, I was wondering if that was the problem. It took a few seconds to load, then gave me the "'Profile Editor has stopped working". Then the error report thing. I was hoping this was legit too :/

EDIT: I just realized I don't have .NET 3.5 installed yet I just got windows 7 a few hours ago. Maybe that's the problem

Mine dosent say anything, it just loads and does nothing. but when i go to the control panel and open it, the process flickers. ive tried running as admin as well and no luck.

EDIT: it opens up a process called winlog*32. i have no clue what it is as i have never seen it before but i just thought i should tell anyway

Why don't you ask your "friend" for a picture before you run random exe's you get?

Ugh well since im on Windows 7 I don't know for sure if it's a dud, but I'll leave the DL link up for anyone who wants to play around with it.

The old Profile Editor was 2.18 MB and this one is 2.80 MB.

First off, lrn2 Sandboxie. Second, avg really does suck at detecting crypted things especially. Your 'friend' just tried to bot you, or give you a rat, and apparently succeeded, sucks for you, you're now a zombie.
