I am in the insider program, and am part of the alpha ring.

I presume you're going to use the same pic on Xbox as S7?

My Xbox App on my android got an update today. It says,
"WHAT'S NEW
-Upload custom pics for clubs and gamerpics
-Use your gamerpic as your club profile pic
-Hide individual posts in the activity feed
-Pin your favorite item to the top of the activity feed"

It's interesting that custom gamerpics is only available to those in the Alpha Insider Ring, yet the app says I can upload a custom gamerpic.
I've been looked through the app for a few minutes and couldn't find anywhere to change my gamerpic.

Same here, I also got a message saying that you're able to change them from the Xbox app on PC but I can't find anything on either platform.

The feature isn't accessible in any of the apps(yet), even to those in the alpha ring.

From what I understand, the only way(legit) to use the custom pic is to throw it on a USB flash drive and plug it into your One. OneCloud doesn't work yet for the feature either(but will).

For those who can't access the page, here is the current requirements:
1080x1080 pixels
JPG and PNG file types only
Only adults(18+) can use this feature(minor's accounts can not, at least right now anyway).

Are you in Alpha ring? I know they said this would be one of the longest things being tested in the program, so I imagine all waves will get it eventually before it's public.

Yeah, it should come out 1-2 weeks prior to E3 & like you said, all waves should receive it before then.

For those not in the alpha ring and want a custom gamer pic, you can use one if you sign into an Xbox that's currently in alpha ring. I know it's not the best workaround, but some people may have friends/family that can do it for them/let them on their Xbox, etc.

You need the Xbox Beta app for your windows 10 computer. I probably should have made that a bit more clear in my post.
