Hey People, I Haven't Posted In A While.

I Need People's Help. At Our School The ICT Technicians Are Pretty.. Well, Trigger Happy With The Ban Website Function. I Need To Get A Way Round This, You Would Think "Use A Proxy Dumba$$, STFU." But The Network Seems To Have Banned Us From Using Every Single Proxy, Not Banning The Website, But Banning The Application. It Says Something Like "<Website Name> This Application Is Not Authorized, Please Contact Your System Administrator!" And Then Closes IE.

    Anybody Have Any Suggestions?

    Many Thanks.

Well, do you have access to cmd prompt on your school computers?

No, I Don't Think So. We Don't Have Access To Task Manager Or CMD Prompt.

However, I've Seen One Person In Here Who Has Accessed CMD Prompt, But I Think Its A Program He Put On A Mem Stick.

    Https

Once I get the money I'm launching 10 https proxies.

https will bypass everything for most schools.

Also put the cmd on a memory stick.

I can't explain an App Launcher, but it let me go to any site I wanted when I used it, as for Ultrasurf, its a program you download and it connects you to a proxy server, so no blocked sites.

The way I got around it at my work was to download and use the Google Web Accelerator. Just google that and install it. It doesn't make any changes to registry so you should be able to install it even if your IT guys have disabled you from being able to install.

At my work for most things I have to have IT log in to install things, but if the program doesn't touch the registry I can install it. The accelerator actually goes to googles website, then gets the webpage from there, so it just looks like you're going to google

This worked for me and all of my co-workers until they gave up blocking us and let us all do what we wanted to. Certainly worth a try because it definitely kept me from the doing the work I was being paid to do while looking for websites like these!

    Hope it helps!

Well for some reason no matter how I zip up the file it tells me I have "Exceeds your quota by 116.7 KB" and the file is barely over 1 meg. Not sure what I've missed but hopefully this link here will let you download it. Let me know whether or not it worked for you!

Type "Start Using CGI Proxy" into google.

You will come up with a massive list of proxy sites. A large amount of them won't work but there will be several that will work.
