I have a seasonice 620w power supply fx 8350 and gtx 680. When I play games I notice my power supply fan starts to spin up pretty fast and is sometimes the loudest thing in my computer. I notice the air coming out of it is pretty warm. When my psu gets warm and the fan spins fast does that mean my psu is under a high load? And if so would getting a bigger power supply help keep my case quieter because it will stay cooler or something?

Ok, this might be a heavy loaded psu, how old is the psu?

Also, are you sure it's the psu? can't it be the GPU getting warm? because usually only the GPU fans spin up for a little bit up and down.

Take the psu out if you know how to wire it back to the board.
Check the fan because psu's get pretty clogged up.

Its over a year old, and I know its not the gpu because when I was testing to see what was making the noise in manually changed the gpu fan rpm and found out it was the psu making all the noise.

ya I will take the psu out and check the dust filter even though I did clean it quite recently

There's not much you can do tbh. You could try change the fan yourself, although that requires soldering I believe and will void your warranty, so isn't worth it. When gaming though, just turn the game volume way up so it drowns out the fan lol

Ya it doesnt bother me since I usually have my headphones on but sometimes other people in the room get bothered by the noise.
