I'm trying to open a bunch of ports on my router for xbox, torrents, and other things not allowed here.

The problem I'm having is I follow all the tutorials on how to do it, but I use portforward.com to check the ports and it always says that the ports cannot be reached.

My router is a 2Wire 2701HG-B and I'm not sure why it won't work.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Port Forwarding Utorrent on the 2 Wire 2701HG-B

you followed all of that?
And your still having problems?

Yeah no matter what ports I open, port checker always says that "Your port is NOT OPEN or not reachable". Step 1 on the checker though says forward the port you want to test in your router to this IP address: 192.168.1.100. Idk if that matters or if you need to do that, but idk how to do that.

Lolpic.

alright, go to, command prompt
and go to ipconfig
and get your ip address, and type that ip into the box where you want the ports forwarded to.
