I'm making this Thread to help "cleanup" the Xbox 360 Support section.
The same questions are asked everyday, so this thread should help answer them.
Q: I just got my RGH and I want to go online, what do I do?A: The only current way to go online with a RGH/Jtag is by using Stealth Servers.
The only Stealth Server I'd recommend using at this time is NiNJA.
If you purchase/have Premium on Se7ensins you will find other cheaper alternatives.

Q: I put a KV on my Hard Drive, but my Xbox still says it's banned?
A: Try the following:
- Check to make sure the KV is actually not banned, by downloading the Validator tool.
[Click here to view this link] | Virus Scan after it's downloaded, place your KV in the KVs folder, run the .exe file, and hit Check All KVs. - Clear your Cache:
Go to System Settings > Storage > Hit Y on your Hard Drive and hit Clear System Cache. - Factory Default your Network:
Go to System Settings > Network > Configure Network > Additional Settings > Factory Default. - Do the XBL Test Method:
Go to your Network, and Test the Xbox Live connection.
On the bottom, are Four Icons.
The third one, is a Globe with a Controller on it.
Start the Connection Test, and as soon as the third icon lights up, hit B.
Depending on the stealth you have, this initiates the KV Swap, and will select/notice your new one.
Q: I'm on the Latest Dashboard, but it says I have an Update?
A: You have an avatar update. You can do the following:
- Thanks to
Sombra you can tell if it's an Avatar Update or a System Update.
If it shows this image:
If it shows this image:
- If you would feel safer doing it manually:
- Grab a USB Flash Drive 8-32GB.
- Download the USB System Update.
- After it's Downloaded, extract the file, and you'll get a $SystemUpdate folder.
- Plug your Flash Drive into the Computer, and Format it to FAT32.
- Drag the $SystemUpdate folder to the Root of your Flash Drive.
- Rename the folder to $$ystemUpdate.
- Plug it into your Console.
- Turn on your RGH and wait until the Dashboard loads fully.
- Once the Dashboard is loaded, plug in the Flash Drive, and you should see this picture:
Q: I have a XX Motherboard, on Dashboard XX, can I RGH it?
A: Please refer to this image:
-
- By that image you can see, every single Motherboard Type, with what type of RGH you'd have to do depending on the Dashboard.
Q: What tools do I need to RGH my Xbox?
A: It all Depends on which method you're doing, and what Xbox you have.
No matter what console you have, you'll always need a way to Read the Nand.
To do that, you'll need a little piece of hardware called the JR-Programmer 2:
Purchase in US ||| Purchase in UK
If you end up having a 4GB Corona (Slim) you Do NOT need a JR-Programmer.
Now that you have something that'll Read/Write the Nand, you'll need the chip to Glitch your console.
Again, looking at the chart in the previous Q&A, it all comes down to what Method you're doing.
If you're on Dashboard 14719 - 17349, you have a few options.
The first option, which will give you the best result, is to use the CoolRunner 4 (CR4):
Purchase in US ||| Purchase in UK
Along with the CR4, you'll need a few QSBs.
They all come in a Pack called the QSB V3 Set:
Purchase in UK
Unfortunately, the US Site, only sells them Separate, so you'll need the first two:
Purchase in US
As well as the Last Aud_Clamp QSB.
_______________________________
Now, TECHNICALLY speaking, you don't need the Aud_Clamp QSB. But again, it depends on what you plan on installing with the CR4.
With the CR4 on a Phat Xbox, you have the option to either do a R-Jtag or a RGH2.
If you're doing the R-Jtag, you need the Aud_Clamp QSB.
The main difference is that the R-Jtag is set and good to go as soon as you finish installing it, the RGH2, saves you $11, but requires some tweaking to get it to instaboot.
_______________________________
That is the CR4 method, if you want to save even more money, you can do the RGH 1.2 install.
With the RGH1.2 Method, again you'll need that JR-Programmer still, but you can use much cheaper chips to glitch the console.
You get to use about 5/6 different chips, but the one I usually purchase is the
CoolRunner Rev D
It's the knockoff of Team-Xecuter's CoolRunner Rev C, but it works just as good, even better in some cases.
With the RGH 1.2 method, you don't need to purchase any QSBs, all you need is the Chip, and the JR-Programmer.

With the Slim Xboxs, I'd recommend just getting the CR4.
It'll give you the best options, with the least amount of fuss.
You can get your CR4 Here:

Now it really comes down to which motherboard you have.
You can easily find that out by looking here:
So now, we'll go even further into the Spoilers O_O

Congrats on having a Trinity, the easiest Slim to Hack
All you need is the CR4 and JR-Programmer
If you want to, you can purchase the QSB to clean up the install.

But it is not needed at all.
That is all, carry on.

Congrats on have a Corona, the hardest (possibly) Slim to Hack
Now, first and foremost.
Please look at this image to determine which Corona you have, there are 6 of them.
Now, no matter what Corona Version you have, you'll need the QSBs.

If you have a Corona v1 or Corona v2, you lucked out.
If it's a v1, all you need is the QSB, the JR-Programmer, and the CR4.

Q: Why can't I join Public Games on CoD/GTA/Halo?
A: Although 99% of Stealth Servers have a Gold Spoofer, that usually only works for newer games.
In order to join a public game on older games such as Black Ops 1 or MW2, you NEED to have a Legit Gold membership. It can be a 48 Hour Trial, it can be a 14 Day Trial, it doesn't matter. It just HAS to be a legit Gold Account. Newer games like Black Ops 3, and CoD AW will work with a Gold Spoofer.

Q: Where can I purchase KVs?
A: Look no further: Click Here.

Q: Why don't any of the tools I download connect/work?
A: It can be four reasons.
- Make sure you have the most up to date Neighborhood installed.
- Make sure your console is set as the Default in Neighborhood.
- Make sure your console is actually connected to your network.
- Make sure you have .NET 3.0 - 4.6 Installed:
Link to All of Them
Q: I put a Plugin on my RGH and now it won't go passed the logo/boot?
A: You can try 3 things:
- Hit the Power Button, and a second after, hit the Eject button.
What this does, is disables Dash Launch from loading the Launch.ini, allowing you access to edit it after it boots. - On your computer make open Notepad. Leave the text completely blank, and save it as
launch.ini. Next, get a USB Flash Drive, Format it to FAT32, and place launch.ini on the Root of it. Plug the Flash Drive into the Xbox, and power it on. You should get to the Dashboard, and now you can go to Dashlaunch and remove the plugin that caused it. -
- Get a 8-32gb USB Flash Drive.
- UNPLUG the HDD from the Xbox
The ONLY things you should have plugged in are the following:
- HDMI/AV
- Power
- Controller - Plug the Flash Drive into the Xbox.
- Go all the way over to System
Settings
Storage
Hit Y on the Flash Drive
If you're on 17150, hit Configure now
If you're on 17349, it'll say something like Make System Drive, then hit Configure now. - Once it finishes, take it out, and plug it into the computer.
- Download and Open [Click here to view this link] | VS
Download [Click here to view this link] | VS
Download Dashlaunch | VS - Once Horizon is opened, on the right side, you'll see Device Explorer.
Hit that, and you'll see your Flash Drive - Extract XeX Menu, and go all the way to the last folder and you'll see 1 File.
Drag that File to Horizon, and hit Save to Device - Flash Drive.
If it doesn't let you drag it to Horizon, Go to Tools > Package Manager > Open > Choose that File. - Once it's saved, close Horizon.
- Open the Dashlaunch Zip, and you'll see 1 folder called installer.
Extract that anywhere. - Open My Computer, and the Flash Drive should have like 22mb available.
- Drag Dashlaunch to that Flash Drive.
- Eject the Flash Drive, and plug it into the RGH.
- Load XeX Menu
Hit RB
Open the Installer Folder > Hit A on Default.xex - Hit RB once Dashlaunch Loads
- Hit X on the Flash Drive.
It should say settings saved. - Hit B to Exit to Dashboard.
- Turn off the RGH
- Plug-In the HDD again.
You should now have the following Plugged In:
- HDMI/AV
- Power
- Controller
- USB Flash Drive
- HDD - DO NOT Unplug the USB Flash Drive
Turn on the RGH. - You should boot normally now.
- Open XeX Menu
Hit RB
Load Dashlaunch from the USB. - Hit RB when Dashlaunch loads
Hit A on HDD1
It should say Settings Loaded - Hit LB > Go down to Plugins and hit A.
- Now you can edit the plugins you need, you can add them as you want and to remove them, hit Y.
- Once you finish editing what you need, hit RB > Hit A on HDD1 and it'll say settings saved.
- Then hit B and turn off the RGH.
- Then unplug the Flash Drive, and boot it up as normal!
Q: The tool I'm using isn't connecting, and gives me an error?
A: If you're receiving an Error that looks similar to this:

- Make sure that your Console is set as the Default Console in Neighborhood.
You can add it by typing in: Jtag | Or by typing in the IP Address. - Make sure you have the most up to date Neighborhood installed.
Q: My RGH Fails to Connect to Xbox LIVE during the Test?
A: Please do/check the following:
- Go to Dashlaunch > Network > Disable Liveblock AND Livestrong.
Hit RB > Hit X to Save on your HDD/Device.
- Clear your Cache:
Go to System Settings > Storage > Hit Y on your Hard Drive and hit Clear System Cache. - Factory Default your Network:
Go to System Settings > Network > Configure Network > Additional Settings > Factory Default.
Q: How do I get more than 5 Plugins on Dashlaunch?
A: By using JRPC2 of course:
Click Here to Download | Virus Scan
After you download that file, extract it, and you'll see a bunch of files. The only two we'll be working with is JRPC2.xex, and JRPC.ini.
Retrieve your Launch.ini from your RGH/Jtag, open it in Note/Wordpad and go to the plugins.
Make your plugins the following:
Open JRPC.ini and you'll see:
Change plugin1 to the 4th plugin you had in Launch.ini.
Change plugin2 to the 5th plugin you had in Launch.ini.
If you want more than 5 plugins, just add them to the JRPC.ini.
Example, lets say you want to add 2 Mod Menus and 1 Bypass, it'd look like this:
So as you can see, you just add it on. You can go as high as you want, just make sure to leave the formatting exactly the same.
Retrieve your Launch.ini from your RGH/Jtag, open it in Note/Wordpad and go to the plugins.
Make your plugins the following:
- xbdm.xex
- StealthServer
- JRPC2.xex
Open JRPC.ini and you'll see:
Code:
"Plugins"
{
//NOTE: 'Hdd:\' is the only device with JRPC
//NOTE: Do not use XBDM as a plugin here! use dashlaunch with it!
//you can have as many plugins as you want! just addon to the plugin number
"plugin1" "Hdd:\XRPC.xex"
"plugin2" "Hdd:\RPC.xex"
}
Code:
//you can have as many plugins as you want! just addon to the plugin number
"plugin1" "Hdd:\XRPC.xex"
"plugin2" "Hdd:\RPC.xex"
"plugin3" "Hdd:\Blops2Menu.xex"
"plugin4" "Hdd:\GTAVMenu.xex"
"plugin5" "Hdd:\AWBypass.xex"
}
So as you can see, you just add it on. You can go as high as you want, just make sure to leave the formatting exactly the same.
If someone thinks of a FAQ I forgot, please let me know.
Thanks!
