Solved Playing Burned Games?

Just wondering, I heard I can play disks if I hotswap (press emergency eject and put new disk in while its downloading), but will this work for any modded game? I'm currently trying to download a game online and burn it to a Dual Layer and just play without flashing my 360. If it's impossible, any flashing services relatively cheap and reliable?

You have to have the original disc to hotswap. Because you put the real disc in and start ripping it to the xbox hard drive, then swap the discs.
