This will not work on PC since you can't reinstall an older version, and why do this when you have cheat engine [also the steam version will most likely not come at 1.00].
So in order for this to work you need to have physical copy of Borderlands. Take the item you intend to mod or whatever you want to call this and put it on your wall (see conversion table below). Quit out of borderlands delete the game and install 1.0 from the disk. Load up the character you put the items on the wall with and your item will now be on the wall with the anointment changed.
50% cryo damage 10 seconds = iron bear bonus incendiary damage
50% radiation damage 10 seconds = exiting iron bear kills reduce cooldown 30%
50% shock damage 10 seconds = iron bear 40% bonus fire next 2 mags
50% Fire damage 10 seconds = iron bear nova
50% corrosive damage 10 seconds = iron bear ammo 5 sec
25% on throw = After exiting Iron Bear, do not consume ammo for 5 seconds.
Enemies below 25% gain 50% damage = Barrier Status Effect
Consecutive Hits increase Weapon Damage by 1% = After exiting Iron Bear, gain 120% increased Splash damage for 18 seconds.
5% damage and reload = fade away increase accuracy & handling
terror damage & fire rate = fade away nova
terror health regen = issue attack command gain movement speed
terror increased crit = sntl movement speed
terror reduce incoming damage = attack command 30% life steal
terror 50% cryo dmg = phaseslam 300
terror 25% health restore = digiclone dmg swap
terror melee 25% = phasecast 250%
terror ase apply 5 secodns = gamma burst 65%
terror reflect = SNTNL 50% Cryo
terror extra proj = Rakk Attack 100%
terror ammo regen = digiclone reload *it will convert on a shield, but it does not reload weapons when used*
terror attack command fl4k's pet 50% incendiarydamage = Auto Bear regenerate 8% of magazine per second
terror reload consume terror cryo nova = issue attack command gain movement speed
phasegrasping an enemy. Amara fires Terror skulls = **Did not work on stopgap & Re-Charger shield & Duc**
While Sliding, fire rate increased by 25% = Rakk 100
While Sliding, Damage is increased by 40% = Grants an extra charge of Rakk Attack!
While Airborne, Critical Damage is increased by 25% = While Digi-clone is active, regenerate 3% max health per second.
while Airborne, fire rate increased by 20% = after phasegrasping an enemy, Weapon Accuracy and Handling are greatly increased.
While Airborne, Accuracy and Handling are increased by 75% = Barrier is deployed, Instantly start recharging your shields.
While Sliding, Accuracy and Handling are increased by 50% = while phasegrasp is active, amara constantly triggers novas that deal 3718 damage.
This doesn't always work sometimes items will also merge together for some reasons. Like I made a rowans call/gatling gatling gun once and it just had an alien barrel and no gun and unlimited magazine. If you try to mod launchers a lot of them will not work like scourge and lumps and they turn into gettleburgers with like 5+ anointments and unlimited magazines and legendary although i've made a few blue ones also so its hit or miss lol. I also made a double pen alchemist with multiple anointments on it so its strange, but happens.
Anyway the stuff you can make that is useful

for those wondering, no, you can't stack gamma burst shields/grenades/weapons or digicline dmg shield and weapons. If you do something like phasecast 250% grenades & like ase 100 or splash 125 it turns into something near 800% i didn't do the exact math.

Reccuring hex with Gamma burst, phasecast, and digiclone dmg
Piss grenades with all the iron bear anointments and gamma burst

are all weird fun things i have made. I didn't let the glitch out for a while for three main reasons and 1. is Ebayers 2. I don't want to ruin the economy of the game why farm say gamma burst weapons if you have a gamma burst redsuit or piiss/rad rec hex? 3. when new anointment are introduced we should get a whole new conversion table because of why this glitch is perceived to work.
So when 1.0 was out this is an example general anointments = 1-10 class anointments = 11-20 then they introduce new anointments and those are tacked on after 10 and have the same codebank # as say whatever class anointment was there at 1.0. That is why new anointments can turn into old class anointment, but that is also why can't get any of the old general anointments so ase 100 or splash 125 are not possible.
Another stupid thing you can do is your character will go to 1.0 with a bag that empty but 0/40 if you say go to vending machines or whatever and fill your bag up and come back to current BL you can double your bag to 80/40 then go back to 1.0 and get to 120/40 and you just pick up items over the useless stuff. Basically you can carry say 200 items if you wanted to and put the work into it.
