Solved Partions yes or No?

Just upgraded HD and want to use it on XBL. question is do I need to install partions 0,2 and 3 or are they not needed. I have my profiles and game saves on thumb drives. Thanks

What do you mean upgraded? Did you get a non MS drive? Yes you need those partitions, the drive needs to be exactly the same as a normal drive.

yes,sorry used non ms drive WD3200 black 7200 rpm,ran Hddhacker. But didn't do partions yet.

Ya you need the partitions. It won't work right and you will get flagged.

Ive always just flashed the sectors and then formatted it on the actual xbox.
