So have a 360 that once RROD'd and i managed to fix it, but i managed to fix it by stopping the fans and letting it overheat again... Which i think is only a temp fix

But the fans still speed up, meaning that it's still hot... Would taking it apart and leaving only the top part of the xbox exposed help with that?

It should work since you're letting out more hot air. Also, I recommend not stopping the fans anymore to make it work. It may work temporarily, but in the long run you are destroying your console.
