    This thread will be used to include as many snippets of code, offsets, and various mods for Advanced Warfare. Due to the popularity of these kinds of threads, it's important we keep a style guide in order to facilitate and ease publishing new mods. Whenever you post in this thread, please keep this guide in mind, as without it we may ask you to correct your post.

    Code Snippet Guidelines
    1. Post your snippet in a CODE tag, this will ensure the formatting is correct and syntax highlighting is enabled for people viewing your post.
    2. Include the language of which your code snippet is in, in the header.
    3. Use the following header:
    Code:
    Title: [title of code snippet/mod]
    Description: [description of code if required]
    Language: [language]
    [--CODE--]
    Insert code snippet here
    [--/CODE--] *remove dashes
    
    *Replace dashes with brackets in order to enable the code tag "[" & "]"

    Offset/Function Address Guidelines
    1. When posting an offset, try to follow naming conventions below
    2. Include a description of what the offset is used for
    3. Include whether the offset is a function address or an address that is to be modified
    4. If the offset is to edited in memory, and it has not been posted before, include what to place in memory.
    5. Follow this guideline
    Code:
    Name: [title/description]
    Address: [address]
    Data*: [ data here ]
    
    *Optional, needed if posting a data offset
    

    Naming Conventions
    An important flaw in the last thread was improper naming conventions. It may be difficult to follow this guide, but it's important as it will allow us to create the most usable, easy to use open source community code list we can have.

    Function Names
    If the name of a function is known, or is part of the AW engine, you must use this name. Replacing 'SV_GameSendServerCommand' with 'SV' or 'SV_GSSC' will not be accepted. When naming funcitons that utilize functions within the engine, ensure all names are correct with the name found within the engine.

    Function Offset Names
    When posting function offsets, please ensure to prefix the name with Address::[offset name]. This will help discern addresses of functions from addresses in which data is to be edited.

    Data Offset
    When posting an address referring to a specific structure (such as entity), ensure you use the correct name of the structure that is found within the engine. Using "entity" in place of "gentity_s" for example, will not be found acceptable.

    Judging from the naming of those offsets & functions im sure Coke has no idea what he is actually using to achieve the desired modification.

    I need the camo offset for cod aw so bad, if someone helps me ill let you have the premium version of my tool for armor and camos free. i already have almost all the best armor in the game pre set to buttons :smile:. Soon as i get that camo offset i can get this tool finished.

    Well, these are the HEX values for the camos, although, I think with a little brain power and perhaps research, you could find the memory offsets for the camos. :smile:

    That was the whole point of Cory making this thread; so people like you who find memory offsets for functions can share their information, rather than just boasting about having them...

    "Look at me, I know how to reverse and find memory offsets, but don't want to share, but want people to pay for an offset in memory" :geek:
