I have a xbox 360 with one red light (bottom right) and a blue screen when turned on.

Shall I attempt an x-clamp on it or what could be my problem to fix?

I have the one light, but my error that pops up is e74. That is the HANA (graphic encoder) chip is loose, and there is really no way to fix it besides sending it in.

Thats what my Elite had, like forrrest said, usually starts with E74, and you HAVE E74, itrs just so bad you cant see it, pop off a RAM chip, close it up, put a warranty sticker on it and send it in

Popping off the RAM chip would cause RRoD?

I though you would have to pop of the GPU to give it 3 red lights?

Popping off the RAM would also give it RRoD. The RRoD is just hardware failure. Popping off the RAM would give you error code 0110 I believe, which they DO fix.

If you haven't yet opened your 360, don't. Just do the towel trick to fry that bastud to 3-rings.
