Unsolved Noob Question, would anyone mind helping?

Hey Guys,
I'm new here so please don't mind me if I sound dumb lol. I know there is a whole jailbreak tutorial and I've looked at it several times. I just wanted to be clear that the ONLY possible way to revert back to 3.55 is with a flasher? My concern is installing hardware and really messing up the PS3. If anyone has any additional tips, they're very much appreciated!

Yes a hardware flasher is the only way to revert back. & if you follow the installation tutorials correctly, it should be a painless task.
