Discussion New Update & Profile Editor

I have been editing peoples gamerscores for a while now.. and i recently got the update (beta), but now when i recover somebodies account to my console & try to load it up into profile editor it tells me they have 0 gamerscore......

has microsoft fixed the profile tools ??
does this mean every1 has to learn hex... lol (gd luck with tht cos there are some really slow people that even have trouble with simple tasks)

anyway to the point... can somebody try recovering an account to there xbox (if you have the beta update) and try modding the GS ?

because im pretty sure i'm not forgetting anything...

i have another problem its not possible for me to unlock new achivements because the new games dont show in the profil editor

i just used the profile editor and added bout 30 games games it was working fine for me but i dont have the new update

does it still work for accounts that were already on ur hard drive ie accounts that have not been recovered since the update?

The update changed the way the profiles work so the old editors need to be updated. This means everyone using a cracked program is out of luck.

personally i would by the program if it was cheaper, but $150 for it ??? no thank you lol

You can't remove an update.

It doesn't really matter, soon you will have to install that update if you want XBL, especially if you want to recover accounts...

There are some changes in the DashGPD. You wont be able to use the ProfileEditor to edit your Profile.

it should do, but if it has changed so that the profile tool does not work then im pretty sure that in the hex they will have changed there ?

so you have updated with this new beta version and profile editor still works? This doesn't happen for the rest of us. what have you done different?

Another question for anyone. Where does the update save to because I had it on my memory card so I thought that I would only have the new dashboard when I signed in from my memory card. But I transferred the profile on my memory card to my hard drive so do this mean that ithe new update will automatically be on my hard drive too? I recovered my gamertag onto my hard drive and it still has the new dashboard. Anyway, if I swap hard drives with someone I know, will I be able to sign in on my profile on the old dashboard?

there is no way of getting rid of the update without wiping the whole xbox (well as far as i know)
and i have an old xbox that doesnt have the update, so im ok for the time being

You will still have the update because it's applied to the xbox.

Update = Xbox.
Hard Drive Switching = nothing.
