That render is used WAY too much
quite a significant improvement though.
Try to start working with brushes a bit more as well as layer types e.g. Overlay/pin light/hue/exclusion/colour dodge.
Only do light smudging and make a sort of 'gradient' look to the BG of it as i have done with my current sig using C4D's.
Use C4D's to give it some depth but not too much so people still focus on the render.
Also i find 'blurring' the render the slightest and a bit more on the outer edges makes it blend in a bit better.
Instead of using that colour text, set it to overlay with a 1px stroke (black) and it should look a little better IMO :3
