So, I upgraded my router to a Linksys ea6100, and ever since the switch, I get high lag spikes every couple minutes while gaming. Does anybody know what could be the cause?

Have you tried port forwarding and IP/DHCP reservation?

Are you using WiFi or Ethernet?

I know that my WiFi never really works when I get a new router if I don't call my ISP and tell them I switched, maybe its time to have a chat?

I have the ea6350. Mine does the same thing. Are you using 2.4 or 5 ghz? Try switching to the opposite if you haven't. 2.4 works better for me.

Surprisingly, this fixed my problem. Thank you! And thank you to everyone else that tried!
