WOW, man, you just said EVERYTHING I was going to say.I personally have huge reservation with the premise of the game. (The fact I am American and have lived through what we refer to as terrorist attacks.)
But for me this is just personal and should not get in the way of a video game. I mean in gta it is open world so you can choose to be a racist and kill people of one color. Or you can become a mass murderer and kill anyone. In most call of duty installments you can play as americans, russians, muslims, whatever your choice. All team death matches you are either one side or the other. And all of this is allowed to be published and is heavily showcased.
We throw your specific politics and thoughts into it and now it's for some reason an issue.
I have seen recruitment games that attempt to sway people one way in a belief. I do not feel your game is doing that at all. I feel you have a take on what goes down in the middle east and this is your artistic perspective. I feel anyone holding you up on this getting a full publish and showcase are so attached to their happy ending mentality they are unwilling to accept that in times of war there are rights and wrongs on all parties involved in the war.
And likely they are too worried about disgracing soldiers that fought they are holding it back.
What we call terrorist here is what the middle east calls fighting back. Likely many of them think of us as terrorists.
This is what happens when both at war think they are right in their fight.
But even I have downloaded and played. You are going to go places with your ability to develop games.
If they choose not to showcase this it will be their loss.
Now I just can say to you Jazak Allah Khayr, wich means, may God give you the BEST.
Thanks for the kind words and compliments.
I think people forget that in the end it is just a videogame, and not a propaganda tool for recruitment
