so i wanted to know when the mythic maps will be available on the marketplace (longshore citadel and the other one, not sandbox and orbital and assembly)

No one knows. Bungie hasn't announced anything yet. They may never be on the marketplace because Bungie wants you to pay $60 for a game instead of just paying the $6 for the maps.

In the weekly update, they said they don't know, and if they are going to put it on the marketplace, they have no idea when. So, you're just going to have to wait.

i think if they do put them on the marketplace it would be by Xmas....but you never really know when they will put it on there..that wat i think but i could be wrong

No. That's too soon. That's a rookie date. They want people to buy the game and get more money out of the deal. When sells die down, or something like that, then they will put them on the marketplace to make even more money. That wont be by Xmas.

yea i have to agree now..i been thinking about it i have to say but next summer, maybe before but its really depends on bungie and how much money they are getting with ODST.

IF they do decide to put them on the marketplace it will definetly be before next summer. It could even be before Christmas, but probably not. The first part of the Mythic map pack was put on the marketplace within 2-3 months if I'm not mistaken.

A bit off-topic, but has someone extracted the maps off the disk so we can put it on our HDD and play them, like the Fallout 3 DLC? Or isn't it possible?
