UPDATE: Finally received the GPU I was waiting for and got it installed today. Next up is a new monitor!

Finally got around to building a new desktop. I didn't necessarily need to but, my dad's system took a dump and I offered to sell him my current one which is way more than he needs, to offset the cost of new build for myself.

I'm pretty happy with this new build but, I'll be looking to do a couple more things soon. I'll be looking for an upgrade to my monitor. Leaning towards a decent 27" 1440p 144hz and I think I've narrowed it down. Of course this all happened right when Nvidia announced the 1080Ti and I really like EVGA's FTW3 but, I couldn't wait for whenever they dropped that. I'm sure soon, I'll be selling this 1070...

I just got everything together late last night as I had to go back to work for one our ISP's to come install a new fiber circuit switch. I still have tweaks and software installs to do later today hopefully.

Safe and sound on the way home...

Everything stock clocks on my system, I got a 8897 overall on Time Spy and a 9829 on just the Graphics tests alone. I don't know if those are good or not as I don't do much benching....

Just tore my 1080Ti apart the other day and set it up with a NZXT Kraken G12 and Corsair H55. Replaced both fans with Noctua's as well. Temps on GPU went down 25-30C and it's way quieter than before. Quality upgrade for about $100 I'd say.
