Does anyone know how to get these for free anymore? i called microsoft and the lady said i had to buy it, but wen i talked to other ppl they said that they got it for free. is there anyway to get the cable free from microsoft anymore?

Hmm, try giving xbox a call. I called them about a month after they started this charging crap. Try to act clueless and say something like you bought a new HDD from a friend and you want to find a way to transfer memory from your first HDD to the new one. Elaborate on it by saying that you tried to recover your gamertag to the new HDD and that didn't work either, so show that you are indeed clueless. They should mention to you that you need a migration kit and they should then tell you they need your information and they will be glad to send it to you within 6-8 days. Also, if they give you that bull about buying it just hang up, call again and retry until you get it. For more information read some of the posts in the Migration kit sticky. :thumbup:

I actually use that idea buy them of ebay for about 6 7 dollars then sell them to people for like 15 dollars thats a big money maker right there, because ima hustler
