Do you want to downgrade and jailbreak one yourself or pay more to buy a pre-jailbroken console? (Also remember it costs money to run the console and stay unbanned online for certain games)

Since your Ps3 is OFW, you going need a E3 flasher only if your Ps3 model can be downgraded back to 3.55 because some can't. Or you go to Ebay and purchase a 3.55 slim Ps3 or pre-modded one that meets your budget.
