Check to see if it can boot from a usb drive if so you should be able to put the reformat stuff on a falsh drive and boot it from there instead of a cd/dvd drive. Depending on what OS you run you should check ,Microsoft's website for the reformat packs and all of that. Don't quote me on this as I am not 100% sure.

if it is the bios setup screen that has a password, reset the CMOS by opening it up, take out the little battery(about the size of a US quarter) put it back in after about 15 minutes and try from there, if that doesnt work try Gparted, its a live disc partition manager and you can get that [Click here to view the link]. to use gparted, burn the .iso to a cd, and then boot from it, then a partition manager will start up, then click the partition you want to format, go to options and format it. OR if you want to delete the old partitions if there are several, delete them and create a new one formatted as NTSC.

if you can find some way to boot from a flash drive, then you could put gparted on that, they have a version for that:tongue:

if you go to killdisk.com i think you can put the iso on a flash drive and when you start up your computer it gives you the option to remove the password.

    hope that helped
