So im new to the whole Lite On thing... ive tried burning games to my LT3 flashed xbox 360 and for some reason the xbox doesnt read them , it says reading and then open tray , am i doing anything wrong?

Ive used ABGX on the iso before burning
Ive used IMGBURN - using the .dvd file and burning at x4 speed
Ive used the DVD +R DL disk that ive purchased
My drive is capable of doing a Dual layer burn

I feel that im doing something wrong or missing something very important

Never do 4x speed, always do 2.4x.
I'd also recommend you look into getting a XK3Y so you never have to burn games again.

Im using a TSSTcorp burner stock with silverline DVD +R DL discs
using abgx on the iso file before burning
burning using the .dvd file
eventualy the xbox wont read the disc....
by the way the xbox was on dash 17 something when i first got the flashed LT drive but then i upgraded the dashboard to the latest , does that have something to do with the xbox's ability to read burned discs?

No . Only if you were on a dash < 14699 and updated to above. That was the only time they flashed drives back stock
You want to use the burmermax payload tool so you can write the entire disc. Xgd3 games won't read if u can't . (Or a burner like Sony optiarc , or ihas with burmermax firm.) Also only discs i ever got to work properly were verbatim mkm-001/003 (If I am remembering properly). That may have changed in the past 5 years tho.

I see , so in order to play LT3 games on my xbox i need a burner with burner max fw and a DL disc such as verbatim?
by the way the DL discs that i use are 8.5 gigs and imgburn never asked me to overburn or truncate

If the discs are 8.5 and u weren't asked to truncate then I think you should be ok on that part. Also sometimes the xbox drives laser is too weak to read xgd3 games and require a pot tweak or replacement. I woukd try a xgd2 game.

Your positive the drive is flashed ? Do u have any backups that read.
Back when I was burning games I only had luck with verbs ( from Singapore)
