Okay so basically I want to stream with my PC and I've been trying to do so in my house however I have a family of 5 and a lot of animals so noise pollution is a problem. I want to move my setup to my garage outside which is not connected to the house and my biggest concern is moisture in the winter months. The garage is mostly sealed however there are gaps where light bleeds through from the doors. We do keep it heated but usually only when we are out there, when we aren't then everything gets shut off. So does anyone have any advice on how I should protect my setup from the cold and moisture? I was thinking about leaving the heat on constantly but if I were to do that what temperature should I keep it at to make sure that condensation does not occur? Is there some kind of sleeves or cover I could seal my setup in when I'm not using them? Should I make sure everything is heated to a certain temp for a certain amount of time before I remove them from the covers and fire them up? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated! On a side note I planned on streaming everyday so if anyone has an efficient way that doesn't take hours to get everything ready to go then that would be preferable! Last thing, my PC does not have a warranty sooooo... yea.

How hard would it be to go to Home Depot or somewhere and buy seals to put in the doors? Also, what's the coldest it get's where you live? I don't think moisture would be a huge problem, but i wouldn't leave everything out there if it get's -20 degrees at night or in the winter

Well the issue is that my garage is kind of enormous and has one big door to bring the vehicles in that is not sealed. We have a way of doing it, only it would be probably only 80-90% sealed. -20 F would probably be an extreme, from what I can remember the lowest it usually will get is 0 degrees Fahrenheit, now like I said that's an average low. I can look at weather records for temps around here though.

I started thinking aswell, you said garage. Wouldnt there be a lot of dust that would build up in there? You gotta remember that your desktop/laptop when streaming will suck and push air like no other ( im a streamer myself! )

i would say garage isn't worst place but if you love your gaming rig.. don't put it out there.
garage has a lot more of the outside in it than rest of your home, condensation has a lot more to due with how much water vapor is in the air, condensation has a lot to do with how fast temps change less about how large difference is.. gaming rigs tend to run temps to nominal operation pretty fast..
i don't think you will kill it right away but it will suffer a hard death by the end of the winter...

my suggestion is to buy headphones if noise is bothering you.. its safer, cheaper.. the other solution maybe to stream your games to a laptop or cheap rig you wouldn't be terribly hard pressed at loosing..if it does suffer from condensation or cold bitter death.. you can stream it from your current gaming rig as well.. make sure have a really good wifi signal and fastest available.. you wont need a really hardcore gaming setup in the garage just have to meet min specs for whichever service your videos card supports for streaming to another rig. or if your apart of the nvidia family, buy a shield and stream your games from your rig to that... im unsure how it all works as i only game directly next to my tower i built..

it gets cold here it got down to 30F in my garage during the small cold spell we had early october not its like spring again.. and i lost all charge on my battery pack for my drill and my laptop.. it maybe circuit blocking it from charging i doubt the lithium batteries go damaged themselves... but they refuse to accept a charge no matter what i done.. i plan on opening up my impact drill battery pack to see if any obvious damage to the protection board if not then ill volt test cells maybe replace them..if nothing else use them in another project
